Chinese vice president concludes visit to Mongolia
Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping concluded a three-day official visit to Mongolia and left Ulan Bator for Saudi Arabia Saturday morning to continue his five-nation Asia tour.
Mongolia is the second leg of Xi's ongoing trip, which has taken him to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Xi will also visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen.
Xi was seen off by Mongolian Foreign Minister Sanjaasuren Oyuunat the airport.
During his visit to Mongolia, Xi met with President Nambaryn Enkhbayar, Prime Minister Sanj Bayar and Danzangiin Lundeejantsan, chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia.
The two sides signed a dozen of cooperative agreements and agreed to hold activities to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year.
